Ohio Unconditional Waiver and Release of Lien on Final Payment
When the construction project is finished and you've received that final payment, Ohio law requires you to provide the property owner with an Unconditional Waiver and Release.
- The prime contractor warrants to the owner that all of the work has been completed to the standards specified in the plans.
- The contractor also warrants that all invoices for labor, materials and equipment have been paid.
- The release does not affect any disputed amounts for extra work.
