The name shall not contain any word, phrase, abbreviation or derivative thereof the use of which is prohibited or restricted by any other statute of New Jersey. The name shall contain the word Corporation, Company, Incorporated, an abbreviation thereof, or the abbreviation Ltd. Applicants who are registering as a new Business Entity (corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships or limited liability partnerships) must complete the Public Records Filing for New Business Entity (pages 23 and 24) in addition to pages 17-19. You must submit a completed Business Registration Application, a Public Records Filing for New business Entity, along with the requisite filing fee.
