Consignment Sale Agreement Between Dealer and Supplier
Sell goods on consignment for a supplier with this template Consignment Sale Agreement Between Dealer and Supplier.
- Selling goods on consignment gives independent suppliers (artisans, crafters, collectors, etc) a chance to sell their products without the major expenses of opening your own retail location, or the heavy workload of running a mail order business.
- You (as supplier of the goods) pay the dealer a percentage of each consignment sale.
- The supplier continues to own the consignment goods until they are sold or until the dealer pays the supplier for the goods and takes over ownership of them.
- The dealer is authorized to sell the goods under the supplier's standard conditions of sale, including manufacturer's warranties.
- While any consignment goods are in its possession, the dealer is responsible for proper storage and for keeping the goods insured in the name of the consignor.
- This is a generic legal form which is not specific to any country.
