This is a copy of the Last Will of Robert (Rabbie or Robbie) Burns (1759-1796).

Scotland's favourite son, Robbie Burns (also known as the Ploughman Poet, the Bard of Ayrshire and in Scotland as simply The Bard) was a poet and a lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, and is celebrated worldwide.

Burns was a pioneer of the Romantic movement, and is famous for his astute political and civil commentary. Robbie Burns Day is celebrated amongst the Scots around the world to commemorate his life and work.
