7 Minute Frosting

SEVEN MINUTE FROSTING 1 egg white 2/3 c. sugar 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1/4 c. water 1 Tbsp. corn syrup Combine all ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler. Place over boiling water and beat with electric mixer at medium speed until soft peaks form. Remove from the hot water, add vanilla and continue to beat on low speed until frosting is cool and will stand in firm peaks.
