FRENCH ONION SOUP Ingredients: 6 medium onions, thinly sliced 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 4 c. consomme 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. celery salt Dash pepper 1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce French bread Grated parmesan cheese Lightly brown onions in butter. Add consomme, simmer until tender. Add seasonings. Slice French bread into slices and toast in oven. Sprinkle thickly with Parmesan, brown under broiler. Ladle soup into bowls and place 1 slice of bread on top of each. Serves 4-6.
