Dairy and Gluten-Free French Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Dairy-Free Gluten-Free French Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients:
1 c. Dari Free powder*
¾ c. granulated sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. arrowroot, potato or tapioca starch
½ tsp. agar powder or gelatin powder
2 c. chilled prepared Dari Free (not powder)
2 eggs, pasteurized (raw eggs can contain salmonella or other harmful bacteria)
Flavoring as desired

*Dari Free has a strong vanilla flavor, so sample a batch before adding more flavoring.

Directions:
In medium saucepan, combine Dari Free powder, sugar, water, starch and agar or gelatin powder. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for one minute or until thickened and bubbly.

Blend in the prepared Dari Free and the eggs. Transfer mixture into the canister of an ice cream maker and process according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
