Princess Diana Last Will and Testament

This is a copy of the last will and testament of Diana, Princess of Wales (1961-1997).

• Princess Diana, born Diana Frances Spencer, was the first wife of Charles, then Prince of Wales, now King Charles III. They were wed in a fairytale wedding in July of 1981.
• On her father's side, Diana was a descendant of King Charles II.
• The Princess of Wales was well-known for her support of charities devoted to a number of illnesses and causes, including AIDS, leprosy, homelessness, drug addiction, and care of the elderly.
• In the early 1990s, Charles and Diana's marriage fell apart. Their divorce was finalized in August 1996.
• Diana remained the focus of near-constant media scrutiny in the United Kingdom and around the world before, during and after her marriage, even in the years following her sudden death in a car crash, which was followed by a spontaneous and prolonged show of public mourning.
• The long-awaited Coroner's Inquest concluded in 7 April 2008 that Diana had been unlawfully killed by the negligent driving of the following vehicles and the driver of the Mercedes in which she was travelling.
