Renovation Contract

Prepare a Renovation Contract between the general contractor and the home owner with this easy-to-use template.

• The general contractor agrees to provide all required materials, labor, tools, equipment and supervision for the renovation work.
• Payment of the contract price, less any applicable holdbacks, will be made in several payments, with the balance due on completion of the renovations.
• A signed change order is required for any alterations to the work specified.
• The general contractor is responsible for cleanup and for job site safety.
• The home owner is responsible for providing utilities, toilets and access to the site.
• The contractor agrees to warranty the work and correct any defects due to materials and workmanship for a specified period, and to pass on to the home owner any manufacturer's or supplier's warranties.
• The general contractor is responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage during the job.
