Aircraft Rental Agreement

Rent out small aircraft to licensed pilots and students with this Aircraft Rental Agreement.

• Purpose. The Agreement can be used by a flight school or club to rent various airplanes to its members and students, or can also be used to rent a privately owned plane.
• Fuel Costs. The Rental Agreement includes provisions for both wet rates (fuel included) and dry rates (fuel not included).
• Flight Plan. The pilot must file a flight plan and notify the club of any deviations.
• Emergency Landing. The pilot must pay for all costs of landing at another airport due to emergency or weather.
• Flight Currency. The pilot must maintain his/her currency in each make and model of aircraft the pilot wishes to fly.
• Compliance with Regulations. The pilot must comply with all federal aviation regulations.
• Liability. The pilot is liable for all damages which occur while the aircraft is in the pilot's possession.
• Insurance Deductible. The Agreement also includes an insurance statement which allows the renter pilot to either prepay the hull damage deductible or accept responsibility for the deductible in the event of a damage claim.
