Ireland Student Housing Letting Agreement

• The Letting Agreement is signed by the landlord, the student tenant and a guarantor (typically a parent or guardian).
• The agreement includes clauses for both off-campus and on-campus housing.
• The student tenant is responsible for paying the stamp duty charged on the Letting Agreement.
• Overdue rent accrues interest if it is outstanding for more than 7 days.
• The landlord may terminate the tenancy if the tenant is no longer a student of a certified college or university.
• The guarantor agrees to pay the rent and any other sums due, and to perform the tenant's obligations under the Agreement if the tenant defaults.
