USA Negotiable Bill of Lading
Prepare a Negotiable Bill of Lading for a US carrier pursuant to the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act with this easy-to-use template.
- The carrier has the option to discharge the goods as it sees fit if any situation arises which might make it unsafe, imprudent or unlawful to continue the voyage or to enter the intended port. The goods will be at their own risk and expense.
- Delivery or disposition of the goods in accordance with the orders of any government shall be a fulfillment of the contract voyage.
- The ship may carry contraband, explosives, hazardous cargo, etc.
- The description of goods and particulars of the shipment are the responsibility of the shipper, and the carrier has no responsibility to determine the accuracy of that information. The shipper must indemnify the carrier for any injury, loss or damage arising due to incorrect information.
- The carrier is responsible for risk of loss or damage to goods carried on deck.
