NWT Mobile Home or Lot Lease Agreement
Rent a mobile home or mobile home pad in the Northwest Territories to a tenant with this NWT Mobile Home or Lot Lease Agreement.
- Governing Act. The lease is governed by the provisions of the Residential Tenancies Act.
- Term. The lease can be for either a fixed term, such as 6 months, 1 year, etc. or for a periodic tenancy, such as month to month.
- Services. Certain services are provided by the landlord and included in the rent (such as snow plowing, visitor parking, etc.). The list of services can be edited to include only those items that apply.
- Appliances. If the lease is for a mobile home, the landlord will supply the appliances.
- Utility Hookups. The landlord must supply the plumbing, gas, water, and electrical supplies to the lot.
- Installation. The tenant must install his/her mobile home in accordance with the standards set out in the additional tenancy conditions.
- Rules. All tenants and guests must abide by the rules and regulations of the mobile home park.
- Attachments. The file includes a Premises Inspection Report for mobile home rentals, which must be completed by the landlord and tenant together at the beginning and end of the tenancy, and a Security Deposit Statement which must be provided to the tenant at the end of the tenancy with the refund of the deposit.
