Use this template to prepare an Affidavit of Owner regarding a real estate property in the USA. The affidavit is being made by the property owner for two reasons - firstly, to induce a buyer to purchase the property, and secondly, to induce a title insurance company to issue a policy.

In the Affidavit, the owner states that he/she is the owner of, and has good title to, the property, that there are no liens against the property, no disputes or claims, no outstanding taxes or assessments, mortgages or encumbrances, except as disclosed in the Affidavit.
