Do you own property in the USA jointly with someone who has recently passed away? You will need to file an Affidavit of Survivorship in order to have the property transferred into the name(s) of the surviving owner(s) by right of survivorship.

This Affidavit form sets out the date of death, the ownership interest of the person making the affidavit (affiant), and whether or not there is any tax liability resulting from the deceased’s death.
