Use this template to create a Co-Tenancy Agreement between a landlord and two or more tenants who will share rental accommodation as roommates. The agreement is an amendment to the original rental agreement, allowing for additional or substitute co-tenants to be added, upon approval by the landlord. Provisions of the agreement include:

• maximum number of co-tenants.

This arrangement is ideal for a landlord who rents to college or university students, as it allows for changes in tenants as some students leave and others move in to take their place, without having to execute a new rental agreement each time.
