Molded Cheese Salad
MOLDED CHEESE SALAD
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. gelatin
1/4 c. water
2/3 c. hot milk
8 oz. fresh cream cheese, your choice
1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cream, whipped (or sour cream)
Soften gelatin in cold water, dissolve in hot milk and let cool. Add cheese, lemon juice and salt, beat until smooth and chill. When mixture begins to set, fold in cream and pour into an oiled mold.
Optional: you can add chopped celery, green pepper, olives, pineapple or other fruits or vegetables as desired.
