Alaska tenants, is your landlord in violation of your rental agreement and/or the law? You can terminate your tenancy on those grounds by serving the landlord with this Notice to Landlord of Termination of Tenancy for Violation of Rental Agreement or Law.

The Notice sets out the violation(s) in question, and instructs the landlord to remedy the situation by a date not less than 10 days after receipt of the notice, failing which the tenant will terminate the tenancy.

The tenant also provides a forwarding address to which the landlord will send the security deposit. The form also includes a Record of Service form so you can record the details of how the Notice was served on the landlord.
