Film producers, secure worldwide motion picture, exploitation and merchandising rights to an unpublished screenplay from the screenwriter with this Option Agreement, under which the writer grants you an exclusive and irrevocable option to purchase the rights to the work. Provisions of the Agreement include:

• The option can be renewed for an additional period, and renewed a third time if the producer obtains a development or production commitment.


• The producer also has the right to make sequels, prequels, remakes and TV series based on the work, for which the writer will be paid a percentage of the net profits.


• The file includes an Assignment Form, assigning the copyright to the producer, as well as a Grant of Option form.
