Residential Roofing Contract
Use this template to prepare a fixed fee Residential Roofing Contract between a roofing contractor and a home owner. Provisions include:
This is a generic legal document which is not specific to any country or region.
- The contractor agrees to provide all required materials, labor, tools, equipment and supervision.
- Payment of the contract price, less any applicable holdbacks, will be made in several payments, with the balance due on completion.
- A signed change order is required for any alterations to the work specified.
- The contractor is responsible for cleanup and for job site safety.
- The home owner is responsible for providing utilities, toilets and access to the site.
- The contractor agrees to warranty the work and correct any defects due to materials and workmanship for a specified period, and to pass on to the home owner any manufacturers or suppliers warranties.
- The contractor is responsible for maintaining adequate insurance.
