SWEET POTATO PIE

Ingredients:

1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups yams, mashed
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell

Cream butter and sugar together in a large bowl; add eggs and stir. Add yams and mix well. Stir in milk, vanilla, and salt, mix well. Pour into a 9" unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the center is set.
