Michigan tenants, terminate a rental agreement by serving the landlord with this Notice to Landlord of Intention to Vacate.

The notice period must be for the number of days specified in the rental agreement. The Notice informs the landlord that the tenancy will terminate on the date set out in the Notice, and the tenant will vacate the rental premises by that date. The Notice also acts as the tenant’s request for return of the security deposit, in accordance with State law.
