Use this template to prepare a Letter of Transmittal to accompany share certificates being deposited in the Province of Alberta by a shareholder of a private corporation. The deposit of the shares is made in accordance with the terms of an offer by a third party to purchase all of the common shares of the corporation. The Letter of Transmittal includes detailed instructions for the shareholder on how to deposit their share certificate(s), and directs the offeror to make payment to the shareholder for the shares being purchased.
