Last Will & Testament of John Fitzgerald Kennedy Sr., 35th president of the United States and the first Roman Catholic president. Educated at Harvard, Kennedy served with distinction in the Navy during World War II. He became President in 1961, defeating Richard Nixon. His attempt to restore a right-wing government in Cuba by backing an invasion of Cuban exiles to fight Fidel Castro was a failure. His important contributions to US policy were the Civil Rights Bill and the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade. He was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald after less than 3 years in office.
