    Missouri

Transfer title to residential and commercial real estate properties in Missouri with these easy-to-use template Real Estate Deed Forms.

Unlike some other states, Missouri law does not require that a lawyer or a realtor be involved in the sale of a home. However, as a seller, there are some types of disclosure you are required to provide to the buyer.

    • If the property was ever used as the site of a meth lab, or contains a solid waste disposal site or demolition landfill, this must be disclosed to the buyer.
    • You must also disclose all "material latent defects" that might not be discovered during the course of a home inspection.
    • Federal law requires sellers of structures built before 1978 to make disclosure about lead-based paint and hazards.
