USA Independent Contractor Agreement
USA employers, retain a contractor instead of hiring an employee with this Independent Contractor Agreement.
- The independent contractor is responsible for remitting his/her own taxes, and will not have a claim against the company for vacation pay, health insurance, social security, workers' compensation, or any employee benefits.
- The contractor will invoice the company for his/her services and the company will pay the invoices regularly.
- The contractor is entitled to reimbursement for reasonable approved expenses incurred in the performance of his/her services for the company.
- The contractor agrees not to compete with the business of the company, and not to solicit any of the company's customers.
- Any inventions or discoveries by the contractor during his/her engagement by the company will be the exclusive property of the company.
- The Agreement includes a Confidentiality Agreement to be signed by the contractor.
