Volunteer Agreement

Does your organization use the services of volunteers? Protect the interests of both parties with this Volunteer Agreement.

• The volunteer agrees to abide by the organization's policies and follow the directions given by the staff.
• The organization will train the volunteer through an induction program on the organization's role, procedures, policies and training in use of computers and other equipment.
• The volunteer acknowledges that s/he is not entitled to salary, benefits, medical insurance or other employee compensation.
• The organization will reimburse the volunteer for any expenses directly incurred in connection with the performance of his/her duties (transportation, daycare, etc) .
• The document also includes an Indemnification Agreement, under which the volunteer indemnifies the organization against any claims or costs arising out of the volunteer's performance of duties, including claims for personal injury or property loss or damage.
