Ohio Conditional Waiver and Release of Lien on Final Payment
Once you've received final payment on a construction project, provide the property owner with this Conditional Waiver and Release of Lien.
- The release form should only be used by prime contractors, in accordance with the Ohio mechanic's lien law. Subcontractors and suppliers should use a different form.
- The contractor warrants to the owner that all of the invoices and claims for payment have been paid.
- The release of the contractor's lien and bond rights only becomes effective if and when the check for final payment has been honored by the bank.
You can reuse the Ohio Conditional Waiver and Release of Lien form for all of your construction and renovation projects. Get your copy today.
