NEW BRUNSWICK

Appoint an agent (attorney) to act for you when you are unable to by completing one of these fully editable New Brunswick Power of Attorney Forms.

The powers, duties and responsibilities of an attorney are set out in the New Brunswick Enduring Powers of Attorney Act. The Act allows you to make an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) for property, for personal care, or for a combination of both.

A property attorney would have the power to deal with your financial and business affairs on your behalf. A personal attorney would make health care and lifestyle decisions, such as what type of medical treatments you receive, where you are to live, what types of social activities you engage in, and similar things.

The person you appoint as your attorney must be at least 19 years of age, and able and willing to accept the responsibility.
