Michigan

Michigan property managers can use these downloadable sample forms to lease, rent and manage residential and commercial properties. Customizable, reusable legal and administrative templates.

The Michigan Public Act requires all persons who are paid to act as property managers to have a valid real estate broker's license, unless they are employed as a property manager by a licensed broker or unless their responsibilities do not include leasing or renting properties.

The exception to this is if a property owner uses its own employees to manage the properties it owns. Those employees do not need to be licensed.
