Alaska Conditional Waiver and Release of Lien - Progress Payment

The Alaska Mechanics Lien Statute gives contractors who furnish labor, materials or equipment to a construction project a lien right over the property on which the work has been done.
When the property owner makes a payment to the contractor for the improvements, it is up to the contractor to then release its lien rights up to the date of payment.
This is a conditional lien waiver and release which does not become effective unless and until the progress payment is actually received.
