Quebec Notice of Rent Increase

QC landlords, if you plan to raise the rent or change the conditions of your tenant's lease upon renewal, you must first serve a Quebec Notice of Rent Increase and Modification of Another Condition of the Lease.

• The Notice is given in accordance with articles 1942 and 1943 of the Civil Code of Quebec.
• The tenant is notified that when the lease is renewed, certain conditions will be modified, including an increase in the amount of the rent.
• This form is for residential tenancies only. It cannot be used for commercial leases.
• This is an English-language form provided by the Régie du logement.
• For use only in the Province of Quebec, Canada.
