- The housing authority grants the student a license to use the dorm room, the shared facilities and the common areas of the building, in accordance with the terms of the agreement.
- The housing authority has the right to deduct any unpaid rent or any costs arising from the student's breach of the tenancy from the rental bond.
- The student must notify the landlord immediately if s/he ceases to be a student of the university.
- If the student terminates the tenancy before the end of the term, he/she agrees to pay an early termination fee. The student will also remain liable for the rent for the balance of the term unless a replacement tenant is found.
