Alberta Contractor's Notice of Non-Payment

Notify a subcontractor that a property owner has withheld payment of an invoice for their services with this Contractor's Notice of Non-Payment form for Alberta.

• The Notice is given under S. 32.3(5)(a) of the Prompt Payment and Construction Lien Act.
• The contractor notifies the subcontractor that some or all of the amount payable to the subcontractor is not being paid within the specified time period because of non-payment by the property owner.
• The contractor undertakes to refer the matter to adjudication no later than 21 days after giving the notice.
• The contractor must provide the subcontractor with copies of any notice of dispute given by the owner.
• Intended to be used only in the Province of Alberta, Canada.
