Alberta Cannabis and Smoking Policies for Rental Building

If your tenant has failed to pay rent, you may address this issue by serving them with the Alberta Notice of Termination of Tenancy for Non-payment of Rent. This process is governed by the Alberta Residential Tenancies Act, ensuring that the steps you take are in accordance with provincial regulations.
Vacating the Premises
Upon receiving the Notice, the tenant is required to vacate the premises by the date specified in the document. However, if the tenant pays the outstanding rent arrears on or before the designated date, the termination may be avoided.
