State Law Regarding Lien Waivers

Kansas law does not require statutory forms for lien waivers and is mostly silent on what a lien waiver form should include as far as language and content.

But the law does provide that a lien waiver is only enforceable if it is provided “as a condition for payment, but only to the extent of the amount of payment received.”
