New South Wales Early Termination of Lease Agreement

This form is not for evictions. It can only be used when both the landlord and tenant agree to terminate the lease early.
This Agreement should only be used for residential leases. A different form is required for commercial tenancies.
The tenant must still give the landlord written notice setting out the proposed termination date.
The tenant agrees to pay the landlord a lease buyout fee.
With this agreement, everyone wins. The tenant gets out of the lease before the end of the term and the landlord is able to list the rental unit on the market again.
