Captain James Cook Last Will and Testament

James Cook was an English explorer, navigator and cartographer, who was the first to map Newfoundland before embarking on several voyages to the South Pacific during which he became the first European to make contact with the eastern coast of Australia and Hawaii, and the first to land on and circumnavigate New Zealand.
Cook charted many areas and recorded several islands and coastlines on European maps for the first time. His achievements are the result of a combination of fine seamanship, superior surveying and cartographic skills, courage in exploring dangerous locations (such as traveling Antarctic waters and face-to-face dealings with Maori warriors), an ability to lead men in adverse conditions, and a willingness to exceed the orders given him by the Admiralty.
Cook died in Hawaii in a fight with Hawaiians during his third exploratory voyage in the Pacific in 1779.

Charles II of Spain Last Will and Testament

Charles II was the last Habsburg King of Spain and the ruler of large parts of Italy, the Spanish territories in the Southern Low Countries, and Spain's overseas Empire, stretching from Mexico to the Philippines.
Charles was noteworthy for his extensive physical, intellectual, and emotional problems - which contributed to his ineffectual rule - as well as his role in the developments preceding the War of the Spanish Succession.
Historians Will and Ariel Durant wrote that Charles II was "short, lame, epileptic, senile, and completely bald before thirty-five, he was always on the verge of death, but repeatedly baffled Christendom by continuing to live."
Towards the end of his life Charles became increasingly strange, at one point demanding that the bodies of his family be exhumed so he could look upon their corpses.

According to Wikipedia.com, Myles Standish (aka Miles Standish) was an English born military officer hired by the Pilgrims as military advisor for the Plymouth colony. After arriving at Plymouth on the Mayflower, he worked on colonial defense.
In 1622, he was appointed the first commander of Plymouth colony. Later, he served as Plymouth's representative in England, and served as assistant governor and as the colony's treasurer.
Standish is often remembered for his bravery in battle and his reputation as the military captain of the Pilgrims, as well as his appearance as a character in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's fictitious poem "The Courtship of Miles Standish".
The former Fort Standish, located on Lovell's Island, Massachusetts, was named in his honor, as well as the town of Standish, Maine.
