Get all of your Lien Waiver and Release Forms for less, all together in one convenient downloadable package for Kansas contractors, suppliers and subtrades.
State Law Regarding Lien Waivers
Kansas law does not require statutory forms for lien waivers and is mostly silent on what a lien waiver form should include as far as language and content.
But the law does provide that a lien waiver is only enforceable if it is provided “as a condition for payment, but only to the extent of the amount of payment received.”
What is Included in the Lien Waiver Package
This package contains the following forms which allow you to partially or fully release your lien claim against an owner's property, as payment is received from the owner:
- Conditional Waiver and Release of Lien Upon Progress Payment,
- Unconditional Waiver and Release of Lien Upon Progress Payment,
- Conditional Waiver and Release of Lien Upon Final Payment, and
- Unconditional Waiver and Release of Lien Upon Final Payment.
Kansas contractors can use these forms to issue waivers to property owners at the appropriate times during the construction project.
Format and Use
These Lien Waiver forms are downloadable MS Word documents and are fully editable and reusable. Pay once, use them on all your projects.
