Hunters' Obligations Under the Lease

• Hunters must abide by all state laws.
• Hunters agree to take proper care of the land.

• Hunters are responsible for all damage to land, buildings, crops and stock.

Indemnification of Land Owner

All hunters who use the land agree to indemnify and hold the land owner harmless against all claims and actions for loss, damage and injury (including death) suffered by any person accessing the land under the Hunting Lease.

State Law Affecting Hunting Leases

Land owners' rights and responsibilities with respect to hunting leases are governed by the Ohio Recreational User Statute.
