Texas Affidavit of Completion
Texas home owners, if you have just completed construction on your home, you must swear an Affidavit of Completion under Section 53.106 of the Texas Property Code.
- The Affidavit of Completion must be served on the contractor and each sub-trade or supplier that has sent you a notice of lien liability.

Why do I need this Disclosure Form?
If you are a contractor doing residential construction and renovation projects in Texas, you are required by State law to give the home owner a Disbursement Disclosure before each payment is made to you out of the construction funds.
This Disclosure Form is only for construction or improvement projects on residential consumer-owned properties, not for commercial projects.
What information is contained in the Disclosure?
The disclosure statement lists (i) the bills that have been paid for work performed on the project and (ii) the bills that have not yet been paid.
