This document authorizes the release of any lien rights or claims for payment that the contractor may have against the property owner’s property, after receiving final payment on a construction project. By signing this form, the contractor acknowledges receipt of final payment and relinquishes any remaining claims related to the completed work, except for any disputed amounts.
Using the Form
The Unconditional Waiver and Release should only be used after the contractor has received final payment for the project, with the exception of any amounts currently in dispute.
The Waiver and Release form provides assurance to the property owner that no further claims will be made against the property related to the work performed.
Notice of Completion
This document package also includes a Notice of Completion form for signature by the owner / customer, to confirm that the construction project has been completed and that all contractual obligations have been fulfilled.
