    NSW Notice of Unpaid Rent

If your tenant has failed to pay the rent on time, you can serve him/her with this NSW Notice of Unpaid Rent, in accordance with the New South Wales Residential Tenancies Act 1987.

    • The notice specifies the date by which the tenant must pay the overdue rent.
    • If the rent is not paid by the given date, the landlord will serve the tenant with a notice of termination to end the tenancy.
    • A Service of Notice form is included to record the details of how the Notice was served on the tenant.
    • This is a reusable legal document. Once you have purchased it, you can use it as often as you need to for any of your rental properties.

In order to evict a tenant you need to follow the procedure prescribed by the Act. Use this New South Wales Notice of Unpaid Rent form to make sure you have complied with the requirements.
