The vocalist is at liberty to choose the material being recorded and is not restricted to songs chosen by the label.

Compensation for Services

For performing their services under the contract, the vocalist will be paid a royalty on net record sales, after deducting the costs of recording, production, distribution and promotion.

Hire a vocalist on a work-for-hire basis to record a number of tracks with this exclusive Vocalist Recording Contract.

• The contract is non-exclusive and the vocalist is free to engage in other recording sessions, but the vocalist agrees not to re-record any of the recordings made under this contract for a specified period of time.
• The vocalist's services are provided on a "work made for hire" basis for copyright purposes.
• The vocalist will be paid a flat fee per track recorded.
• The recording company will pay for all recording and studio costs, packaging and distribution, and promotional costs of the recording.
• The vocalist grants the company the right to use the vocalist's name, likeness and personal information for distribution, advertising and sale of the recording.
