Contract Overview

This easy-to-use Pop-Up Vendor Space Contract template is designed to facilitate the rental of vendor spaces at pop-up art and artisan markets. The contract sets out clear responsibilities and requirements for both the vendor (artist) and the market operator (licensor).

Vendor Responsibilities

• The vendor is responsible for providing all necessary displays and equipment needed for their booth.
• The vendor must also supply their own Wi-Fi connection to process sales transactions with customers.
• Vendors are required to carry public liability insurance covering their participation in the event.
• The designated vendor space may only be used for the display and sale of the vendor’s artworks during the pop-up market event.

Market Operator (Licensor) Responsibilities

• The market operator will provide electrical hookups for vendors.
• Toilet facilities will be available for vendor use.
• Parking is not included as part of the amenities provided by the market operator.

Fees and Deposits

• The vendor is required to pay a rental fee for use of the space.
• A refundable cleaning and damage deposit must also be paid by the vendor.

Code of Conduct and Compliance

• All artists and artisans participating in the pop-up event must adhere to the licensor’s code of conduct.
• The code of conduct covers the use and maintenance of the space, as well as the content of the works on display, signage, and branding.

Indemnification

• The vendor must indemnify and hold the licensor harmless against any claims, actions, and damages arising from the vendor's participation in the event.
