Massachusetts Contractor Partial Waiver and Subordination of Lien

The waiver allows a general contractor to release and relinquish its lien rights and claims up to a specified payment date, except for retainage, pending change orders and disputed claims.
The contractor's lien rights with respect to change orders and disputed claims are subordinated to the extent of the advances made by the lender / mortgagee for a period of 25 days following the payment period.
