Alberta Contractor's Notice of Non-Payment

The Notice is given under S. 32.3(5)(a) of the Prompt Payment and Construction Lien Act.
The contractor notifies the subcontractor that some or all of the amount payable to the subcontractor is not being paid within the specified time period because of non-payment by the property owner.
The contractor undertakes to refer the matter to adjudication no later than 21 days after giving the notice.
The contractor must provide the subcontractor with copies of any notice of dispute given by the owner.
