Western Australia Rental Application and Offer of Option to Lease

Purpose of Document

This Rental Application Form and Offer of Option to Lease Residential Premises is designed specifically for property owners in Western Australia to effectively screen potential tenants for their house or flat.

Information Required from Applicants

Prospective tenants are required to provide comprehensive personal information, including references, detailed employment history, and their previous rental history. This information assists property owners in assessing the suitability of applicants for the tenancy.

Consent for Background and Financial Inquiries

Applicants must give their consent for the property owner to conduct inquiries into their financial status and background as deemed necessary. This ensures that the owner can verify the applicant’s ability to meet rental obligations and maintain the property responsibly.

Process for Entering into a Lease Agreement

Once the applicant has paid the option fee, security bond, and initial rent payment, and the owner has accepted the offer, both parties will enter into a formal lease agreement. This process secures the tenancy for the applicant and provides legal protections for both parties.

Collection of Tenant Information

This form allows property owners to gather all the essential information needed to make informed decisions about potential tenants. Obtain your copy of the Western Australia Rental Application and Offer of Option to Lease form to ensure thorough and efficient tenant screening.
