Has your landlord given you notice of its intention to renew your rental agreement with changes that you do not agree to, such as a rental increase?
You can terminate your rental agreement by serving the landlord with this Notice to Landlord of Termination of Rental Agreement (subsequent to notice of renewal).
- This form of Notice is to be used only to respond to the landlord's Notice of Renewal of the Rental Agreement With Modifications, as provided under the Delaware Residential Landlord-Tenant Code.
- The Notice informs the landlord that the tenant rejects the modifications to the rental agreement and that the current agreement will terminate on its expiration date, at which time the tenant will vacate the premises.
- A Service of Notice Form is included to record the details of how the Notice was served on the landlord.
The Delaware Notice to Landlord of Termination of Rental Agreement (subsequent to notice of renewal) form is available in MS Word format, and is easy to download, fill in and print.
