The Residential Landlord and Tenant Act of 1977 governs residential tenancies in the State. Sec. 70-24-108 deals with what constitutes notice of a fact, and how notice is to be given to the landlord and to the tenant.
In order to be valid, all notices must be in writing, and must be sent to the address stipulated by the party within the time limit set out in the Act.
